This has been the worst loan experience I’ve ever had. They screwed up my payments and they’ve been telling me for months that they fixed it, but every month brings a new problem that I have to resolve. They’ve turned off my automatic payments without telling me and not notified me of subsequent late payments, they’ve deducted my money early and then said I didn’t pay. Don’t trust them and get your loan elsewhere.

They screw up my payments every single month and no matter how many times I contact support to get clarification on what's going on, it happens over and over again. I pay early each month and my payment will be posted in their portal, but I'll still get calls and emails 3 to 4 times a day saying that my bill is past due. It's almost like their customer support team and their billing team have ZERO communication. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This company will request every single document from you, make you wait weeks for an update on your application(after giving you the EXACT same automated response, mind you) then deny you for "not providing enough documentation" like would a DNA analysis with an organ attached be good enough for you Payoff? Your site is eye candy but your service is awful and the reviews reflect that wholeheartedly. Please save your time and energy and look elsewhere. It is not a coincidence this is the common experience from these people.

If I could give a zero-star review, I would. Trying to schedule the payoff amount with this team has been a nightmare and ordeal. It's been over a week since I've attempted (at least 3 times) to pay off my loan completely. I'm being tossed around, to and fro, from person to person, team to team, one odd reason after another. The platform/website is not user-friendly whatsoever. I was very happy when I got my loan. Did it all online. I wish I never did. They are awful. First you have to sign up with a credit union to get the loan. This credit Union is in Oregon and seem to not handle any part of the loan except provide the money. This makes no sense to me. Second you can not get in touch with Payoff by phone at all. You will sit on the phone for hours with no one ever answering your call. Then you will abruptly be disconnected with never speaking to anyone. Took longer than they said to receive funds. Complained and got a 25 dollar amazon gift card but still feel like they lied on multiple occasions. If im going to pay 1000s you better button up your act.

This was one of the worse unorganized companies that I have ever worked with. Processing a loan that should of taken a week took almost a month, try calling in and I'm on hold for about 1.5 hours, As I'm waiting to hear back from someone to see if I'm approved I get no response from anyone and I have no knowledge that they are needing additional information from me until I call in.
