I love Dr. PAYAS and her entire staff! Such caring people. They even prayed for me about an unrelated thing that I was concerned about. All my dental expectations were met!
The entire staff are amazing. Most of us are fearful of dental procedures but Dr. Payas and her staff make you feel safe and comfortable. I am confident in the doctor's abilities and and know that she is highly qualified to make my experience the best it can be.
I was promised that cleaning my teeth wuth a laser would help with the gum disease. Instead I could tell that my gum were getting worse. They were constantly bleeding and were swullen. When Iinformed of the situation, she brought me in and cleaned my teeth herself. Iknow for a fact that dentists aren't as good at cleaning teeth, That is a job for the hygienist. How anyone gave this old lady a 5 star review astounds me. She was very nice, but was an absolutely terrible dentist. On my first visit, after 26 years of not having a cavity, she told me I had 2. So I got them filled without thinking about it. The next cleaning she told me I had 4. This time I got a second opinion and the second opinion told me I had no cavities and Dr Payas was probably just going for a money grab. Anyway, I won't be back there. Is zero stars a thing?
Dr Payas might actually be the worst dentist I or anyone I know has been to. When I moved to Tulsa, I hadn't had any cavities in 26 years of life. In my first visit she said I had two, so I went ahead and got them filled. 6 months later she said I had 4. I thought that was absurd, so I got them reviewed by a second dentist who said they all looked fine and Dr Payas is known for stuff like this. She and her staff are very nice, but do terrible/shady work.
The crown work that Dr. Payas did was substandard. The crowns fit poorly and collided with the opposing teeth while chewing. Several broke as a result. I continue to have problems with the crowns that she installed.
I had two fillings 3 weeks ago and I am still unable to chew on that side of my mouth. I have more work scheduled in the next few weeks, so I hope that those results will be better.
Dr Payas is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable dentist I have ever had. I love my cosmetic front veneer!!! Her staff is extremely nice and helpful too. I have recommend her to all of my family and friends.
Dr. Payas is a great dentist! My visit was comfortable and the staff was great. I have never been to a dentist that prayed for my before. I felt as if I was the only patient she had and that my concerns were her concerns. If you have a fear of the dentist and have not been in a long time this is the place to go!
