Horrible company. Publish your schedule guidelines because that is the excuse you give on these reviews.

Even though my low overall rating, I will say that the service guy was very nice and did show up when expected according to the text message. Also, I haven't had any rude encounters over the phone. The overall rating is for simply the month long back and forth we have had to deal with trying to get our dryer repaired. It started off with a timer, ordered the part, then got a call that the part wasn't going to arrive by the time the next appointment was scheduled, however it showed up that day. I would have called, but buy th... read more

Business response:

Mrs. S****, We do hate to hear that you feel this way and do apologize for your delay in service. This is a GE warranty call and we do have to follow all guidelines given to us by the warranty company. We were also in the midsts of the holidays and that can be a delay when working out holiday hours. Unfortunatly, when diagnosing and repairing sometimes there is multiple problems with a unit, but cannot be identified until other parts are replaced, your warranty company is made aware each time this is done and attempted and w... read more

Paul's Appliance Service was dispatched via American Home Shield on MARCH 22 to repair my refrigerator/icemaker. As of today, MAY 6, my refrigerator, freezer and icemaker are completely non-functioning and the problem has in fact gotten worse after several service calls. I have been given no idea as to when or whether Paul's will repair or seek replacement of the appliance. The last communication from their technician was to call American Home Shield yet again.

Business response:

This is not a valid complaint. Customer needs to get with his Home Warranty with any issues. We are set with guidelines that we must follow per the warranty company. This customer has had communication, as we let each customer know what is happening, and leave an invoice with them as well. (we use carbon copy invoices) Customer is being sent for a second opinion since he is so upset and should hear from his warranty company. He needs to get with his warranty company with ALL issues. Thank you!

I am sorry that I have to write a very negative report on Paul's Appliance. We purchased a LG refrigerator from Home Depot 2 1/2 years ago with purchasing the added insurance. Our refrigerator went out about June 21 2017 went out . Service repairman came out and said it was a compressor. He ordered one and installed it. The refrigerator failed again. Next serviceman said the other one installed it wrong. We have had many appointments and either they don't show or when they do come says the other serviceman did it wrong. They... read more

First of all this customer called our office demanding an exact time to show up and was "threatning" us she would call BBB and her company. We did make her warranty company know of this and her actions. We went to her home on Oct 3 the part that was ordered and shipped by her warranty company was shipped and this was done through the warranty company which we have no control over. We did attempt to come to her home today and did try to make that happen. She was not willing to work with us. This complaint is not a valid compl... read more

The first appointment was March 17, 2017. The repairman came and decided to order parts. The parts came to my house and the repairman came back on April 18. He still could not fix the problem and said he needed more parts. He came back on May 16 and said it was fixed. He said to wait 24 hours before dispensing water. We waited 24 hours to dispense water but it was not fixed. I called Paul's Appliance to discuss the problem. My main objective was to share ideas on how to fix the door. I talked to a supervisor. I think her nam... read more

We have an old work order for this. This is with the warranty company. If he has issues he needs to direct them to them, we have no LIVERNIA that works here.. and we do not mind at all speaking with customers about their issues as that is our jobs. However, this customer called and spoke with Alex who when speaking to you will find is a very mild mannered and soft spoken individual. She did report that the customer was yelling and abusive. I got on the phone with this customer, and he was doing to same. I asked him calmly to... read more

After I cycled my Whirlpool oven through the self-cleaning mode the oven would no longer heat. I called the 800 number in the service manual to report the problem and was told a repair person would be in contact. I was later contacted by Paul's Appliance Service LLC and an appointment was set up for the next week on Friday. The day before the appointment I received a call from Paul's informing me that the appointment would need to be changed to the following Tuesday because I live in a rural area and they only service my are... read more

Business response:

We strive to offer quality repair services. Customers unit was diagnosed and part was ordered accordingly. Customer pre-scedhuled for part install at time Of service. The customer knew the unit was out of warranty and did not even offer his payment. While doing audit on service calls we found the payment was not rendered. We do not usually invoice for payment but take payment at time of service which is what was trying to be explained to this customer. Services were rendorered and payment needs to be paid.

This company has been shameful. They came promptly after my warranty company scheduled the first visit, they ordered parts and then haven't shown up. They have no showed on me twice. Now my warranty company called them to assist me and they pushed me back another week. I have no fridge or freezer, 3 children with one being a baby who needs milk. I am appalled at this lack of service. I have a bag full of parts and no one to help install them. Alex at the desk has a friendly voice and stays very calm, but she does nothing to ... read more

Business response:

The delay is because we left messages for customer to no return call back from The customer in a timely Manner, when it's returned customer difficult to schedule. She also has warranty and can call her warranty company as we have placed notes to them as well.

This is the worst company I have ever encountered. I have a home warranty plan and Paul's Appliance is one of their contractors. They were sent to my home to repair a free standing ice maker. The repairman was very knowledgeable and polite, however the service has required multiple appointments. I've been stood up twice after staying home all day waiting for him. Kaylee rescheduled me and it was always 2 - 3 weeks later. Then she called again today to cancel tomorrow's appointment (which she personally scheduled) to say the ... read more

Business response:

This customer has called our office each time very demeaning to the staff and even gave wrong addresses for another home to get service. We have tried to service her and do have to go through her warranty company. The part delays was so tomparts special ordered through her warranty company and the mix up of her issuing two different home addresses. Customer has been beyond difficult to work with st the same time. Yelling and degrading to staff members.

Preface: I've never been inclined to submit a negative review on a business - my solution was to never patronize that business again. Until now. Others must be warned: I needed warranty service on my new laundry center so I was referred to Paul's Appliance Service. Because of the remote location of my appliance I accepted an appointment over a month out. It was agreed that my technician "Trevor" would be to my location after 12 noon on Friday, March 24 with a 30 minute heads-up call when he was on his way. On Thursday, March... read more

Business response:

this was a referral of warranty from another company. We never confirmed an appointment with this customer until we received the call day before that we made with a third party. We informed him that we apologize that the third party company did not give him accurate information. We did let him know what we had and could do for him. He was fully aware of it and accepted that. When we called him he then says he wont be there until after 12 noon.. we tried to explain it all to him, he then began to patronize all of our office s... read more
