My daughter went in to see Dr. Dean because of intense pain. She needed two root canals. When she got to the front counter they made the appointment for the next day and told her she would need $300.00. She did not have the money and could not get a hold of me. They wouldn't schedule the appointment unless she had the money. Later in the day, when she got a hold of me, I told her to make the appointment and I would pay the money. I have been to many dentist trying to find one that would not cause me so much pain. I was looking for a dentist that cared when they stuck that needle in knowing it hurts! Dr. John Dean is that dentist. I will never go to another dentist again. I have used Dr. John Dean for about the last 12 years. This man can give you a shot and you not even fill it. he is that GOOD. I have to say I am upset that on my last invisalign checkup, it took over 30 days to find out (the over $13,000) worth of procedures sent into my insurance company would not be covered...but just as I expected. As I do not have that kind of money, I think it would have been nice to have had a plan B available so I could try and prepare. They did not even take impressions on that visit, and if I recall Dr. Dean requested them to see if more invisalign were recommended. Dr. John is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He really cares about his patients. He keeps up with all of the new and best procedures for his patients. The front desk people are warm and friendly. I love my hygienist. She is the Best. The whole atmosphere starts at the front desk and goes all the way to the back. I cannot think of a better place to go.
