We live in Washington and was referred to Dr Dawson by a family member. It was worth the trip! Dr Dawson is a comprehensive physician, using state of the art facilities and technique. My husband had a knee replacement 8 years ago by a different physician and had a very tough recovery. In my opinion, Dr. Dawson is one of the best surgeons in the Northwest. He is very attentive to details and always professional. I have had three surgeries with Dr. Dawson, and the outcome of all have been great.

I love how personal Dr. Dawson is. He listened intently and was always focused on me throughout all of my visits. I had rotator cuff repair as well as three of the tendons. He told me it would take 9-12 months for full function. Well, my last appointment was eight months post surgery! Dr. Dawson is more than willing to let my son shadow him in the office as well as during surgeries - my son is considering medicine.

Dr. Dawson takes the time to explain the process and surgery step-by-step. He is very experienced and professional I had many questions regarding my total knee replacement. I came from out of town. Dr. Dawson was recommend to me by a very good friend who had the same procedure, so glad I listened to her. Dr Dawson repaired my shoulder, torn rotator cuff and torn bicep. He was very agressive in my recovery, getting me into P.T. within 10 days after surgery. On another occasion, I saw him for a broken bone in my hand. The staff prepared a custom brace for my hand and I was back good as new in a month. I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

I would highly recommend Dr. Dawson to any of my closest friends or family without hesitation. He and his staff at Cascade Orthopaedic Group provided me with amazing care following a broken leg that was far more serious than I expected, and I’m truly grateful to have had Dr. Dawson help me through that every step of the way. For me is was just good luck that he was on ER call the night I ended up there. To say thank you falls short of showing how appreciative I am.

Very personable, extremely knowledgeable and considerate. I recovered in record time from 2 shoulder surgerys (one very extensive) and I can only credit that to the quality of the procedure.
