Poor. It was emergency room meeting to repair broken hip from a fall. He was curt and didn't inform well about procedure. Poor bedside manner. Follow up appointments were with PA as Dr was not available ... questionable. Anesthesiologist was not much better ... short and little explanation

Dr. Dawson replaced my left knee. About a year later, I went back to him complaining of weakness and pain in my surgical knee. He did a very quick 5 minute exam and said my knee was perfect and I just needed more time. He didn't bother to take an x-ray. Nothing. He just blew me off, and I left angry and determined to get a second opinion. My new surgeon took the time to evaluate and x-ray my knee which needed to be stabilized, requiring a second surgery. My knee is now in perfect working order, no thanks to Dr. Dawson.
I have been seeing Dr.Dawson for about three years now for my knee. I finally decided to get a knee replacement in November. The procedure was a great success and so happy I got it done. Dr. Dawson and everyone that works at the office are very friendly and very helpful. I will be back in a few years to get my second knee replaced.
Just underwent knee replacement surgery. Two weeks into recovering and I cannot believe how fast I am recovering. The surgery was as smooth as it could possibly be. I was contacted throughout the week prior to my surgery with constant helpful reminders. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Dr. Dawson was clear and up front about what was going on with my knee and laid out all my options so I could make an informed choice. We tried PT first to see If I could avoid surgery but I just got worse. Dr. Dawson performed a good clean surgery in a quality surgical clinic. I am healing up ahead of what the PT was expecting! I am very pleased! I’m looking forward to having my knee back. Dr. Dawson is friendly and professional. I would recommend him highly.
From my first visit through two total knee replacements in one year Dr Dawson has been a fantastic communicator and highly skilled surgeon. He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me understand what to expect. He is equally realistic and encouraging. He had his work cut out for him with my complicated surgeries. Dr Dawson is an awesome surgeon. He never makes appointments seem rushed, explains everything thoroughly and really listens. His staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. All around A+ experience.
