Dr.Seo-Mayer was a phenomenal doctor. Throughout my years as a 12 year old child she has made a huge impact on my life with the condition that i have. Im now 21 years old and miss her so much she was great!
I didn’t like Dr. Seo-Mayer. Our son was diagnosed with Nephrotic syndrome for yhe first time, and she’s the first doctor we saw. She made us wait for 45 minuets for our appointment while she sits in her office. When she’s finally seeing us, she didn’t seem to care for our questions. She gave us a couple of websites and told us to read about the disease on our own. Never went back to her afterwards.
I've been seeing Dr. Seo-Mayer for 5+ years and she is one of the best doctors I've ever had. She is kind and professional and is willing to work with me and my family. My daughter has a complicated medical condition but she listens to us and works within our limits. There is a bit of a wait time but we have never felt rushed or hurried during our appointments with her which generally last an hour. She is just fantastic .
My child had a complicated problem and she took the time to speak to my other doctors, review his records, and explain everything to us in a way we could understand. Very thorough and kind. Highly recommend.
STAY AWAY. Find another doctor! She was always negative with us (parents) and never wanted to think outside of the box. Her attitude was quite appalling and she certainly had a God complex. Many times I would call to discuss my kid's situation as well as ask questions -- every single time she was dismissive and upset that I even questioned her. The office visits with her were the same and we always felt rushed. Keep your children away and find another kidney doctor.
