Inspired by the farms, vineyards and waters of the Pacific Northwest, we at Pastini are dedicated to serving up two of life's greatest pleasures... pasta and wine. We love how a steaming bowl of pasta warms your hands as well as your spirits. We love the sound a cork makes when it nudges away from the bottle. Using responsibly sourced ingredients, we craft craveable dishes with a local sensibility that is true to our roots. Our thoughtfully curated wine list celebrates both stellar Northwest wineries, and small family-owned ... read more

McPasta – This place conjures up bad dining flashes of Macaroni Grill. Selection? My three favorites - Carbonnara, Gnochi, and Lasagna - all absent from the menu. The Cannelloni stuffed with shrimp was weak. The interior was very Z Gallery like, and you had to ask for olive oil and vinegar. Opt for the McChicken with Marinara sauce or something real such as Cafe Mingo, Alessandros or Three Doors Down, but pass on this in-between venue.
Not as bad as some reviewers say! – This restaurant is not at all like those chain italian restaurants eluded to in other reviews. The menu is inventive, which is what I like, not filled with the same ol' red and white sauce choices. The antipasto platter was huge and filled with tasty treats. Our entrees were both very good, again large portions (we both had leftovers to take home) and the prices can not be beat!
Some Reviewers need a CLUE! – Pastini is a great restaurant! It is a place to get wonderful food fast, good service, and even better value. For those of you who think that it is noisy and crowed need to realize this is not a sit down all evening restaurant and shoot the breeze. We are talking prompt and delicious! I love dining there and will continue!
very dissapointing – Hardly worth the wait. The antipasto was good but it does'nt take much to put pre-sliced meats and cheeses together. The pastas were almost unedible mine was way to salty I couldn't tell you what the flavor was supposed to be all I could taste is salt. On the other hand my wife's pasta had no flavor at all. Personelly I think she got the better deal. The service was avarege. Wine was good . Of course they were out of tiramisu. Agree with one of the previous rewier the place is way too croweded.
customer – the food was great but the service by the yooung man answering the phone was exceptioonal! He was courteous and helpful although I was being difficult. I want everyone to know how great the service is.
Italian delight – We visited this location based on the ratings in this site. We were not disappointed. the food was good the wine good, seated quickly. and best of all dinner was 20.00 with tip (for 2)
Best Italian Food in Portland – I consider Pastini Pastaria the best place to get Italian food in the city. All my friends rave about it, the food is to die for, the prices are outrageously low, and eveyone who works there is good natured a courteus. Five stars.
Great feel – Great food but I thought a salad or soup should be included with the entree.
Smoke and Mirrors – My daughter and I decided to try Pastini at their new location. We were quite impressed with the decor and the friendly service. Unfortunately, behind this facade we found that the food was not up to the same standard. Both the fettuccine alfredo and rigatoni bolognese lacked flavor. I realize that the concept is to offer pasta at a reasonable price. But at what price? My suggestion would be to raise the quality of the food to match the decor and service
