My New Favorite!! – Ever since it opened up in my neighborhood...I have become addicted! My friends and I go there at least once a week and can't get enough. Great food at a Great price! – My Husband and I recently dined at Pastini's for dinner and fell in love with it! We had an appetizer, drinks and dinner for under $40! Our pasta dinners were anything but mediocre. It is defiantly the place to go if you want something other that the same ol', same ol' Italian food that other chains offer.
Loved It! – I've meant to try this restaurant since it opened, and finally did last weekend. My date and I were impressed. The Antipasto appetizer was much larger than expected, and the size didn't detract from the quality. The dinners were more moderately portioned, and my tortellini with wild mushrooms and proscetta was very satisfying. This restaurant is an excellent addition to NW 23rd, as its tasty, has good and friendly service, and is easy on the wallet.
cheap...but, – Why go out and pay for something anyone could make at home in 5 minutes? Maybe if there were no wait it would be ok. But was it worth waiting an hour for? Not in my opinion.
Great Value – Good prices, some dishes very good, but others incredibly bland (beware of the fettucine alfredo).
Nothing special – My visit to this much-hyped spot was not so great. We waited 45 minutes (on a Thursday evening) for a table for two. Once seated, the service was excellent and our server very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The pastas (both mine and my friend's) were very bland, with nothing really special to distinguish them and sauces that were way too watery.
