Normally Fabulous – Normally we love Pastini's. The NW location is an easy place for our whole family to meet. This night was a disaster!! We went to celebrate the fact our baby sister was in town and it was her birthday as well as our nieces. When we arrived we were told we could not be seated until 1/2 of our party arrived, this was new. Then after seating the 7 of the 12 coming, no one came and waited on us. We would have ordered appetizers and drinks as usual, but no one even asked until all but three had arrived. By tha... read more
Butternut Squash Ravioli in Sage Brown Butter.....Yummm – Went with a few friends and had the Butternut Squash Ravioli, it is especially great for this time of year and I crave it. My friends thought is sounded so good that they ordered it too, didn't just want a bite of mine. We shared a bottle of the wine of the month, a great deal and very nice. My friends did consent to share a Bistro salad and they were impressed with all of the flavors, from the Pancetta to the Gorgonzola Herb dressing. The fresh bread is warm and just... read more
Pasta – Many pasta dishes and salads to choose from
Great Food - Vegetarian Friendly – I recently went to Pastini and was really pleased to see a diverse menu with lots of vegetarian options. They have at least 10 different vegetarian entrees (all well under $10) that offer an amazing variety of choices. Not only do they serve spaghetti, but also zucchini, fettuccine, capellini, polenta, macaroni and cheese. and several other dishes. I ordered their Vegetarian Ziti that was incredibly delicious. The portion was generous and included zucchini, squash, fresh tomatoes, pesto, fr... read more
Great Food, Low Prices! – This was my first visit to Pastini and I enjoyed every minute of it. Not only was the customer service delightful but the food was awesome! I ordered a pasta dish with seafood and loved every bite of it. The portions are HUGE and I left Pastini stuffed, while paying a very affordable price. For the low prices and large quality and quality of food that you receive, I highly recommend Pastini to anyone on the fence of which Italian restaurant to visit. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with the me... read more
Fab Neighborhood Restaurant – Waitstaff was nice and very accomodating to our group - we couldn't decide and they were very helpful in suggestions! They knew their menu inside and out. Was impressed with the inexpensive prices and our group of five enjoyed our suggested selections by the waitstaff. Thanks for helping us out!
Sunday Dinner special at Pastini rocks! – Sunday night at Pastini is the best deal around. They have soup or salad, pasta and dessert for only $11.75. The service is friendly, the atmosphere much more upscale than you'd expect for the prices. The tiramisu is the best I've tasted since Italy!
Delicious Italian Food w/ LARGE portions! – My second trip to Pastini was as successful as my first visit. I had previously visited their Bridgeport location and this trip to their NW locale was just as satisfying. The menu items and attentive service exceeded my expectations. As a Portland newbie, I’m thrilled to discover an Italian restaurant that has the perfect ambience for both a family dinner, a business lunch or drinks and cocktails with friends on the weekend. Pastini definitely has combined all of these attributes i... read more
Olive lovers enjoy – At least once per month I stop by Pastini on Division for lunch. The food is good and filling, especially when you're craving a substantial meal. I love olives and usually get the assortment appetizer. For $3.50 you cannot go wrong. The quality is much better than the olive bars at Zupans (expensive) and Safeway's feeble attempt to upscale. Last week I had the vegetarian pasta for the first time, which has olives of course. The weather was too hot for alfredo or gorganzola. I enjoyed the squash, pesto fl... read more
