Sweet food, sweet deals. – I eat at Pastini at least a few times a month. I always can change the orders on the menu, and get anything MY way. They accomodate to any of my needs, and i can always get out of there with my bank account intact. Love this place. Great location, great food... You gotta go there.
Bravo Pastaria – This place is awesome! Food is inexpensive and delicious. Service is not amazing, but definitely up to par. Added plus is that it's on 23rd Street--close to lots of other shops, coffee houses, etc. Try the seafood canneloni--it's my personal favorite. :)
Tasty but stingy – The dishes at Pastini are yummy and the ingredients are fresh & quality....but the portion size leaves much to be desired. But in the end it's still a reasonably priced venue that is good for kids and the tiramisu is to die for!
What's the fuss? – Having eaten here on three ocassions with my boyfriend, we cannont figure out what all the fuss is about. On our last visit our server never bothered to introduce herself, the artichoke appitizer was cold and the grilled bread flavorless and the pasta was so over cooked it was glue like. The pasta is the most serious issue as it has been consistently overcooked through all our visits. We've decided not to return for a fourth trip.
Overall Worth Your Money – We stumbled into Pastini on accident one day, and left thinking we had found a new favorite restuarant. If your looking for a mid priced restuarant with overall good food, this is the place to go. The menu provides a long list of pastas garenteed to please everyone is the party. It's a good place during the week if your looking for something more casual and a nice stop if you want to sit and enjoy some food before going out on the weekend. Give it a try.
We love it! – We've been to Pastini almost every week since it opened...it's so affordable and the pastas are awesome! We especially like the spaghetti and meatballs and the fusilli all roma. Yes, you have to wait sometimes, but that's because it's so good...no crybabies! The wine is very reasonable, too. Pastini is easy, fun, affordable and yummy...what more could we ask for?
great food, great price – It's amazing how some people just don't get it so they have to say such negative things about a restaurant. I love Pastini because they do great food at a great price with lots of variety and a great lively atmosphere.
disappointing – menu reads well like a good Italian cookbook but execution is poor. All the right ingredients were used...but tasted canned or wrong somehow wrong. We ordered a general sampling of salads, antipasto, sides, and pasta and nothing was properly prepared. There are better places in NW to get Italian
Typical 23rd Ave eatery – Overhyped and underwhelming. Loud, long wait, bland food, boring wine list, uninspired staff. Anyone with a cable connection could make their pastas after watching just an hour of food network. Skip it - go to Besaus instead.
