It was during an unfortunate situation we met Parr Lumbers Regional G.M. John F. Our contractor - Itasca Construction, owned by Travis McKracken & Linda Proudfoot, ordered our deck package from Parr. We paid our contractor $25,000 for the deck package and they ended up not complete the deck job AND not pay Parr Lumber. As many of you know this turns out to be a bad situation for the home owner. Maybe Parr Lumber could stop sending out certified letters to home owners on behalf of their subcontractor Eagle Creek. We have a new construction built on which Parr Lumber found it necessary to send out a certified letter with their right to file a construction lien if they don't get paid on time on what supposedly was a warranty repair ordered by the builder. Given the amount of time and effort I had to spent informing myself about what the letter implies and legal support, I will unfortunately have to decline any future ... read more
