Paris 66 is an authentic French Bistro. The owner, Mr Frederic Rongier was born in Paris France and created Paris 66 in 2009 after purchasing the building in 2008. Hands down the best restaurant in Pittsburgh!
I hate to not recommend bc I would definitely try again and many parts of our meal were delicious, service was great and atmosphere was very Parisian. Went for Valentines and there was a prix fixe menu for $89 which was fine. French onion soup, scallop gratin, filet and halibut were all amazing. Prepared perfectly and delicious. Sorry to say that the quality has diminished - I can only assume that a change in kitchen staff has taken place in the last year or two. Bland appetizer of duck pate with nuts couldn’t entirely be saved by what was admittedly a good duck main course. But the thing that really has me not returning any time soon is how thickly the staff must apparently now lay on the faux French charm. I seriously felt like I was at the Epcot Center. Had a fabulous dinner last evening. The Oysters, Escargot, French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon and Creme Brulee were excellent. This intimate elegant cozy French restaurant is a hidden Pittsburgh gem. Chef Dave and the staff were amazing. Some actually spoke French. Definitely going back. Have to try the Frog Legs.
The food is absolutely amazing and the ambiance is perfect. Our waiter was a delight too.

My favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh! Authentic French dining with excellent service. The experience can be very smart casual or elegant. Additionally, the Sunday brunch is the best ever.
