Dr Parentis was a referal to me by a co-worker for a worker's comp case I have. From the moment I met him and his staff, I was impressed. He ran a few tests to find what was wrong with my shoulder. About a month later I was having a surgery on it. I could not be happier with the results! After the surgery, he and his Physical therapy crew continued to impress me with thier bedside manner and knowledge. I would recommend him and his staff in a heartbeat

I injured my Achilles tendon in late August, went to a "chain" type orthopedic and never felt comfortable with their prognosis. Dr. Parentis carefully took the time to explain my injury and options to repair... I've since had the surgery to repair and feel at ease that I am on the road to my recovery and active lifestyle, I would highly recommend him to anyone !

Services are always prompt & courteous. Sometimes I meet with Dr. Parentis & other times I meet with one of his PA's. Everyone is very professional and take time to answer any questions. He is happy to discuss how things are moving along, what I can expect and what options I have. I have recommended him to both family & friends.

I ruptured my Achilles in May 2015. Another Dr. recommended PT. I knew something was wrong and that I couldn't do PT. This led me to Dr. Parentis.. He recommended surgery, which I agreed to. 9 weeks after, I re-ruptured (my fault). Had a 2nd surgery with V-Y tendon lengthening. 5 weeks after that surgery I got an infection. After a long road of wound management and antibiotics, we did a 3rd surgery. I though I would never be the same, but I am back to biking, running, and a normal life.

Terrible pressured me into doing unnecessary and additional surgery when there was no need too. I had the surgery was hospitalized with an infection on multiple rounds of antibiotics and never saw Dr Parentis for follow up visits only PA's. There was not one sink in the exam rooms for hand washing. I need additional extensive on an area of my foot that I didn?t have one problem with now in major chronic pain and need surgery and months of recuperation time.

Business response:

#1; This is a very concerning review regarding its validity because I explain to every patient that the procedures I perform are entirely elective. I have never, and will never, pressure any patient into any surgical procedure. I remind every patient that it is their choice to proceed with surgery and they must base their decisions upon their quality of life. #2: There is a sink in the hall by all the rooms where hands can be washed after each visit.

Dr. Parentis was very thorough with his explanation and what to expect pre and post surgery. His staff members are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The facility is great and I look forward to PT sessions. At this point, I am seven weeks post ACL reconstruction surgery and couldn't give a better recommendation. If my other ACL goes, I'm coming back here.

i would not send anyone to him, i was having trouble with knee replace he would not talk to me his NP talked to me, till i told them that it is like a meat market take a number and wait, he came in found that i had mercer infection, have to take iv for 8 weeks after that i called him and his asintance told me that they would give me a number were i could talk to another Doctor about my knee, he did not want me to see me anymore about my knee, when anyone ask me about knee sugary i tell them not

Business response:

It is almost impossible to respond to this review because the patient was clearly confused about her diagnosis and treatment. This patient developed a postoperative infection with MRSA as a result of morbid obesity. This is a known risk factor with knee replacement and was explained in great detail prior to her procedure. Total knee replacement is an entirely elective procedure and the most common risk of this procedure is infection.
