Dr. Parentis did a full left ankle replacement for me. I went to see him as I had been to another orthopedic doctor who would not even consider operating. Dr. Parentis listened to all my concerns & thoroughly explained the complication of a complete ankle replacement. After injuring my calf, on the recommendation of my primary, I went and saw Dr. Parentis. He immediately diagnosed me as having a torn Achilles. He was incredibly sympathetic and informative about the injury. He operated within the week. His staff and the excellent Physical Therapists had me in a walking boot in 2 weeks and nearly 100% back to normal in 3 months. My only complaint is I was hoping for a gnarly scar. Instead I have a tiny line that is fading more and more each day!
Dr. Parentis is a very knowledgeable doctor. He listened to my issues when many other orthopedics have told me the issue was in my head. He explained to me the issue. It shocked me that this issue is very common and that no other orthopedic and or doctor new about it. When I told my primary about this issue he did not know about it either. After the surgery I feel amazing. I wish I would of seen him 15 years ago instead of living in pain.
Dr. Parentis was very knowledgeable and reassuring through the entire process of my Innury. His staff was very courteous and understanding when asked questions. I was completely satisfied with my care
Dr. Parentis performed surgery on me back in July of 2018 to reattach my pectoral tendon after a sports injury. He was extremely kind, caring, and knowledgeable. He came highly recommended and I was totally at ease that he would be able to restore me. The surgery was a great success and I've healed very nicely. His PT staff was excellent as well and I was able to return to normal activities within a reasonable time frame.
My experience with Doctor Parentis was great! I had a bicep tendon tear, doctor Parentis was extremely patient and gave me multiple options trying to steer me in the right direction all while being very professional and helpful. I did however choose to have surgery done. The entire procedure leading up to and during was an all around comforting experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Parentis and his team! They were wonderful!
