Dr. Parentis has performed 2 full knee replacements for me over an 8 year period. Plus, I saw him for a few years before my first surgery as he advised I was too young to do the replacement. I always felt he advised me without ever pushing my decisions. I chose him because he had operated on my wife's shoulder and he was compassionate and thorough. He personally did follow up calls to our home to monitor my wife's progress. I confidently recommend their practice based upon 12 yrs experience.
I have known Dr. Parentis for 15 years, I first saw him for an A/C separation which required no surgery. More recently I saw him for an ankle injury and after a very cautious approach surgery was the only option. The surgery was successful and I was back to work ahead of schedule. Five months after ankle surgery I tore my distal bicep tendon, Dr. Parentis to the rescue! I would highly recommend him! Great bedside manor, excellent at explaining the injury and available options. Great Dr.!
My treatment in all respects has been outstanding. My surgery was a complete success with results better than expected or even hoped. Dr. Parentis's compassion and attention have been outstanding. His explanations of my conditions and methods of treatment have been clear and given with great patience.

I have had a few different surgeries with Dr. Parentis. He was very good and has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes time to listen and isn't in hurry to get out.
I first saw Dr Parentis about 10 years ago for knee pain. He tried everything available to save my knee before considering a replacement. That surgery went so well that I didn't hesitate for the second knee replacement 4 years later. Last May I had a nasty fall resulting in a dislocated shoulder, torn labrum and rotator cuff. He told me it was one of the worst injuries he had seen. He was able to repair the damage and kept a very close eye on my recovery. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Parentis!
When I was explaining the problems I was having with knee swelling and pain, he didn't seem to care what I had to say. He immediately recommended I have surgery. The results are worse pain than before and always swollen. Not happy!
Unhappy with the results of my shoulder surgery. It's been 2 years and I'm in worse pain than before. I didn't feel like the doc really listened when I was talking to him, he was just waiting to say what he already had planned to say. Just my 2 cents.
1st total knee replacement surgery was in 2014 my 2nd was in sept 2017....both knees are perfect! I couldn't be more pleased with my results! Thank you Dr Parentis!
