Absolutely terrible service! My account was set up for auto-delivery. I always pay my bill on time when they send it to me. I ran out of propane on 1/18/21 p.m. I called on 1/19/21 at 7:10 a.m. to let them know I was completely out of propane. I was told that my delivery was scheduled and was also told that I would be charged a $60-something fee which was a "leak fee" Excuse me.... Lack of leadership, knowledge, and customer service. I haven't received a bill in 3 months. Left hand has no clue what right hand is doing. ZERO stars. AmeriGas seems to be growing through acquisition. However as soon as my contract is up I will be switching to a reputable reliable propane supplier. After seeing their rating i believe their growth strategy will not support them. They don't seem to have the correct infrastructure to sustain their growth. Shame on their leadership.

Was with them for 10 years, removed a deck that had a gas line going to it for a BBQ and slightly pinched a line, pin hole leak. Called them out, driver spent 3 minute cutting the line, installing a plug. Got a bill for $289 for the fix, then came out, when every other gas company was at 3.39 a gallon, I was charged $5.58 a gallon, $489 bill for a pinhole leak. We’ve been out of propane for 5 days. I have called 6 times. The last call the CS rep, Bob said there hasn’t been a request for a dispatch. He said he couldn’t confirm a delivery today. We are going with another company. They’ll be here next week.

We’ve been trying for weeks to get a tank picked up but can not get ahold of anyone to schedule this. The recording said 63 minutes wait. After 2 hours, we got disconnected. Whatever happened to customer service? We’re getting nickel and dime to death being charged for services we did not request, do not want, we do not use. Why is this allowed to happen? Thank you for your wonderful service, not.

We bought property with tanks on it that at that time were owned and managed by Pioneer Propane. Sold to Amerigas. We called them up to return tanks that we didn't sign anything with or about. Charged us 90 dollars per tank to come removed them. I might add these were rental tanks from the previous land owner. When removing the tank they drove directly on top of our septic lines, when asked to moved over 20 feet, they refused and drug the tank out over the lawn and left 20 yard 5 inch deep trenches. AmeriGas is a horrible company!! Unfortunately the propane company that I originally had was bought out by AmeriGas. To start with their "Automated System" is a joke!! It doesn't even work!! Then you sit on hold for a better part of 20 minutes or WAY longer. In the beginning of December I called to find out what my price was for a fill-up and asked if they had any deals going on at the time. AmeriGas is a nightmare to work with they lied to me and told me that my gas company was swallowed up by them meaning they bought it so I placed an order with them on 19 December 2000 2020 and 10 days later I still did not have any gas. I called them back they said my account was blocked but yet my ticket was still sitting there. We leased a tank, which means we can only get gas from Amerigas. Their prices are $0.70-$1 higher than any other gas company around me. Now it’s a 2 week wait before delivery, on top of the higher prices, unless you pay a $200 fee for them to deliver in 72 hours, or $300 for 24 hours. Everyone else local is 48-72 hours delivery time. Extortion at its finest. And also, I haven’t had a shorter wait time than 45 minutes on hold. I can assure you that any other gas company will be better than this place.
