If I could give them zero stars, I would. I don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't let something like this happen to someone else. They have been absolutely terrible, and they don't care at all about their customers. We scheduled a delivery for a propane refill, and they kept bumping us back. Because they did this we ended up running out of propane to heat our house. My 5 and 8 year old have been without heat and warm water for 3 days! I have been a customer in good standing with AmeriGas for 6 years. I made a multitude of calls and was promised an expedited delivery. I even emailed the main office in PA. No response and no delivery. My tanks are EMPTY!!!! They didn't care that I was totally out of propane - wow! Terrible. I have already switched to a different company and can't wait to they take away their tanks. Absolutely no regard for their customers.
I am an automatic propane delivery customer. The business web site shows that my propane level was low and a delivery was scheduled on January 6th. Today is February 3rd and we have entered the third day without heat, hot water and stove. The first day I was told that it was on its way. Yesterday I was told that it was to be delivered tomorrow and I had to pay extra if I wanted an emergency delivery. I moved and had my account closed, made sure my tank was empty and had to call numerous times for them to pick the tank up. I received a letter dated 1/19/21 for collections! There was a $20 credit on my account before I closed it. They charged me a "pick up" fee! Since I moved my bill never came to me and now it's up for collections. Why am I being punished with a fee for moving and closing the account?! I called and was told by multiple reps to call different numbers and have yet to get a resolution! I’ve been out of propane for days and have not even gotten a call from the emergency line. They sent a driver who went to the wrong tank, said it was full and left, without asking why I said the tank was empty, they left and texted me. I wait for 30 minutes to talk to a service representative who can’t fix my problem and tell me someone will call back who never does. Even the website times out before they can pull up my account. GO ELSEWHERE
This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. I spent 90 minutes on their customer service line. More than 2o minutes multiple times, with no answer. Every time I indicated I was interested in a new account they answered after the first ring. They don't care anout their customers.
They promise delivery two weeks àfter payment and showed up 3 and 1/2 weeks later. They gave the excuse that they did not have enough drivers. Heritage always had enough drivers. They are trying to make more money with less drivers. If they don't soon fix this we are afraid we will run out of propane and make a lot of people left in cold conditions.
We signed up for an automatic delivery service in November , but they have failed to automatically deliver fuel. The tank is nearly empty. it was difficult to contact the company (long wait times [about 45 minutes] and the website poorly functions [failure to connect to webpage errors]). A company representative tells us our account was not properly set up and that we are therefore on will-call. Stay away.. they charged our card and did not come out. Every time we call they put us on hold and leave us there. After telling us they would provide a refund they started sending bills for fake services....using the $1k they initially charged and running down our balance !!!!!!!!!! Total Crooks!
