Round up the steak! – This is an excellent restaurant for people who are looking to eat fine steak, because that is what this restaurant specializes. But it won't come cheap!
katrina's review – I love eating at Pappas Brothers. This is the kind of restaurant you don't turn down an invitation to. The meat is the center attraction at the table and the sides are shared. Service is EXCELLENT. Restaurant is always overstaffed .

Le meilleur steak – This is by far the best steak I eaten in Houston (and WW). However, it takes time to be seated, fries are not good and wine is expensive. Still worse the trip: the steak is a unique experience.
Great place for a special night out. – Have been there twice for special occasions. The food is fantastic and the wine list is mind-boggling. . . definitely ask for advice with a type of wine and/or a budget in mind! The asparagus and mashed potatoes are great sides and, if you get the opportunity, try their corn chowder to start. I am not a fan of corn chowder, most I've had tend to be too bland or too sweet, but their's is fantastically creamy and great blend of spices. And of course, the filet mignon is wonderful as well!
Steak FANTASTIC, skip dessert – I had the three peppercorn steak and it was the best I've ever had. The crabcakes are also equally fantastic. I am a dessert lover and could not pass up the beautiful and artistic looking desserts. I have tried both the key lime and "moonpie", but I was disappointed. The desserts were nothing too rave about, they look better on the tray.
Creme de la creme! – I have had dinners at Ruth Chris and Pappa's. By far, the service is superior. Usually reserve this restaurant for special occasions, but a seat at the bar with a glass of nice wine and their heavenly crabcakes, finish with the creme brulee - you can't go wrong! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a cause for celebration, or would like to have a special dinner with a companion. Also, make sure you make a reservation for a weekend, they are busy. (well worth the wait!!) Bon Appetit!
The BEST! That's that – My Wife and I have been going to Pappas Bros Steak House about 5-6 times a year for the past 5 years or so and have NEVER been disappointed! The food is always outstanding and the service has always been spectacular. I have also brought several Clients and friends here in the past and all were very impressed and each just dying to go back when they visit.
