I can cook a better steak! – I've been to their restraunt twice and have been disappointed in the filet mignon. I can cook a better steak at home on the grill. I'll never go there again. For the price - it just ain't worth it!!
great food and great service – The service is wonderful, at all times. One of my favorite places to go. The food is great and served with a smile.
Classic steakhouse! – I was in Houston on business and was referred here for dinner. If you enjoy a traditional VIP style steakhouse from the past, this is the place! Warm, candle-lit leather booths, pampered service, and excellent steaks! I would reccomend this restaurant over and over again. A most enjoyable evening!
The Best By Far – I guess people see things differently. First the oft mentioned sevice. I've been to Pappas about 20 times in the last three years. The sevice has ranged from good to great. The comment that it is snooty floors me. I have been in many fine resturants across the US and Europe and this place has top service. The food I've had has never been less than excellent. OOPS – The food was good. Nothing special just an over priced Mortons or Ruth's. The wine list was overpriced. Good Food but the Capital Grille just down the street gives you the best for less.
Yummy!!! – This is one of the best steakhouses in Houston. Filet mignon is wonderful and there wine list is quite extensive. Wonderful for any occasion.
Yea right – Guerilla warfare service. ever sit in a Pappas restuarant for a long time? No, cause the servers are taught faaaassssstttt service for the almighty $. Can't blame them though... $ is why businesses exsist, but Pappas has crossed the line between fast friendly service and guerilla tactics to turn and burn tables.
Steaks meant for the gods. Truly a Texas treat. The wine list is awesome and the atmosphere is great. When you want to feel special go there. The service is terrific.
