This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

RecommendedThe best! Coming back after 5+ years I feel equal parts happy & sad. I miss the old mismatched chairs and tables, but the food is still just as good. Went with the old faithful — steak omelet. Next time it’ll be my second fave, shrimp & grits 😁 Hard to believe our waiter remembered us from all this years ago, even remembered that our daughter was super little. I really miss Baltimore sometimes.
This is one of my favorite places in Baltimore, the food is great, the staff is very friendly and the place is so funky-cool!!! Highly recommend!!!

We love Papermoon—we always take out of town guests here for the cool decor and delicious food. What prompted me to write a review, though, was the incredible biscuit and sausage gravy I had this weekend. Words can’t even begin to describe how delicious this was. Savory, flavorful gravy with a large, fluffy biscuit. Biscuits and gravy can be hit or miss but this was just perfect. Already craving another and might have to go back this weekend!
My first time there today with my family the breakfast was very good will be back soon .
