Great “bedside manner”. I felt like I was his only patient all day. Explained issues and seemed to really care about me and my issue.

Dr. Foulk is thorough during his conversation with you explaining first what the rotator cuff is and does, and what an injured rotator cuff looks, feels and sounds like. As he explains, he draws a picture too. It is nice to have a visual to help understanding of what he is explaining which, by the way, he does in language that you can understand. He informs you of all steps of the process before, during and after surgery. He ensures your questions are answered as well. I felt very comfortable and at ease with Dr. Foulk.
Dr Hugate is just the best!! I’ve known him for many years and I was so, so happy he was here when I needed him as a physician.
We were greeted with enthusiasm that was like meeting an old friend. The news and knowledge that Dr Foulk gave us was filled with hope and understanding. Sadly he needed to hand us off to another surgeon. We did not leave Dr Foulk's office until he made sure that I would be taken care of quickly.

After 10+ years of hip pain I am now totally pain free since my SI joint fusion performed by Dr. Desai. Recovery was incredibly fast - in under 2 weeks. I only wish I had selected Dr. Desai originally. Two (2) previous surgeries did not help.
He listens and we made decisions together with his skilled help! This was a follow up appt and he is an excellent surgeon!
