Food quality was decent enough, but high prices. Restaurant is also dark inside, kind of like a dark doctor's office inside. It's really primarily French cuisine with some use of Mexican ingredients. Enjoyed Caesar salad; crabcakes were solid, but not spectacular. Sorbets and desserts (made by chef's wife) are extremely good, with a large variety, but not good enough to make up for the rest of the meal.
Fantastic! Not the typical Mexican cuisine you might expect- think French cuisine with a Mexican twist. Home made deserts are outstanding. The staff is attentive but not stuffy. We make sure to stop by whenever we are in the Philly area.
This is not your typical Mexican restaurant with tacos, etc. The food here is superb. Chef Adan has a way with food. Don't miss the opportunity of having dinner at Paloma.
I have never found another restaurant that creates such beautiful, fresh, sumptuous dishes. Every course is unique and memorable. Paloma's has been our favorite restaurant for 14 years. You can bring your own bottle and they will prepare an excellent beverage specifically for you. We plan on bringing the whole family to Paloma's when everyone is in town after the birth of our first grandchild. Barbara & Adán, and their staff make it a special evening for every guest.
From the minute I entered the door, I felt enveloped by the warm, almost familial vibe from the waitstaff, and management. The cuisine was delicious, cooked to perfection, and each dish representative of the chef's culinary vision- akin to different acts from one delicious performance. To say the desserts were heavenly, would be an insult. I will certainly return for future culinary adventures. Highly recommended.
