I love goin to the park especially watching the play texas.its beautiful and mesmerizing
Absolutely beautiful park. We tent camped July 28-30. We are avid hikers and hiked The Lighthouse Trail first thing Saturday morning. While the trail was great and we enjoyed it, there was a ton of trash and graffiti on the rocks. Wish there was a place to swim because the Texas heat in July is killer, but still a gorgeous park.
This is the crown jewel of the Texas state parks. It's really shocking to be driving along the plains of the Panhandle and to suddenly come upon this vast and beautiful canyon.
It had beautiful scenery! I went with my bf for our anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better place to discover. We will be coming back to explore more, no doubt! I'd recommend coming here especially if you're an outdoors person!
the sight is majestic. excellent hiking. take lots of water and a nice lunch, great picnic areas
