Walk on by – I have been to the Palm in DC and NYC ...they were awesome... so I was anxious to try the one in Atlanta. I ordered the linguine with clam sauce and my fiance ordered a steak. His steak was dry and was quite small. The linguine with clam sauce was a very small portion and had very few clams and had absolutely NO FLAVOR!!! Unwanted extra ingredients in our food – Upon walking in, we were assaulted with a strange smell of the place, like moldy, musty wet carpet. We were seated on the first floor by the waiter station so it was a bit hectic and noisy. We ordered from the restaurant week menu--the salmon filet was a very large piece but bland. Abysmal – Wow, what a lot of hype about absolutely nothing. This was my first and last visit. I will admit that the service was excellent but there was nothing else about that place that I could recommend. Everything was very expensive and I can?t imagine, based on what I ate, why anyone would want to pay that much. I had the lobster for two special. Best lobster with crab cake!! – Their lobster is really good.. with a crab cake on top... amazing!!!
The Palm Restaurant is keeps true to “Steaks and Sketches” – Let’s start with the Salads. The Caesar Salad is chopped hearts of romaine, tossed with garlic croutons and Caesar dressing, and topped with grated Parmesan. The dressing needs a little work, maybe bump up the anchovy and garlic content a bit. If you add a little salt and fresh cracked pepper, it’s just fine. Thumbs up with 4 stars! There is no place like the original.... – Giant lobsters, huge steaks but so much more. Most newbies order steak or lobster with the usual sides and iIt is expensive. But... The Palm is also a great old style Italian joint. Delve a little deeper into the bill of fare. They will make you just about anything you want and if it's good enough it may end up on the menu. palm restaurant – My husband and I always enjoy the Palm. We always get great service and food as well.Ahi Tuna is a favorite for both of us. Deserts are huge. Chocolate cake is my sons favorite. Anthony is our favorite server,but all of the staff are great. I am never dis appointed when I go to the Palm. It is a good time always.
Just a great as the original – The waitress was very attentive she was great. She took our order and dinner came out almost immediately. The steak melted in our mouths and the lobster was a treat. We were full but how can you turn down dessert when they bring your choices to the table? Love the Vegas Palm as much as I love the original in Manhattan.
Over hyped – The interior of the restaurant was unappealing so we sat at a pseudo alfresco table. We each ordered the much hyped 3-course business lunch, selecting Caesar salads and the twin tenderloin filets served with caramelized onions, wild mushrooms and bordelaise sauce. In addition we received a large plate of cottage fries and fried onion rings. My wife chose the key lime pie while I went with the New York cheesecake.
