This physician does no more for thyroid concerns than a general practitioner would. She did a TSH blood test and told me I was fine and should see a bunch of other, unrelated specialists for my symptoms. Saw someone else who had a 7 month wait list and once I was finally seen, I was immediately diagnosed with Hashimoto thyroiditis. I had a very difficult time getting appointments here and had no response to important health questions I sent through the portal, which was the only means of communication with Dr. Heda.
Called office to make a new patient appointment. Told me my PCP needed to fax over medical records and after 3 days I could make an appointment Had my doctor take care of forwarding records that same day. When I called back to make an appointment they wouldn’t let me and said they are not taking new patients. Time wasted
Don’t understand her high rating, drove 1 1/2 hrs because of it, to be extremely disappointed. Doesn’t return calls, lab orders don’t get sent in. Office personnel rude. SMH
I came here for a physical as I just got off my family insurance. After getting my blood done, I got a call from "Dr." Heda. She told me that I had very bad type 1 diabetes and started me on insulin the very next day. This was odd to me and my family as not a single person in my family has had diabetes. I was given a Libre to monitor my glucose, and my numbers would go up to 400+ at the highest and 45 at the lowest.
