This was are first stay at the Palace. We flew into Gulfport. Palace offers a shuttle service back and forth to airport. You just tip the driver. That was a greatly appreciated amenity. The Hooper picks up and drops off right outside there door. We found rooms to be very clean, staff was freindly and smoke free casino was a plus. I enjoy going to the Palace for two main reasons...smoke free and the Mongolian Grill in the eating area.
My Hubby & I come to the coast at least 2-3 times a year.. We have been coming here for years now as a little get away spot.. And , the "Palace Casino Resort is the only hotel we would stay in .. Nonsmoking, Pool Area is very nice,Love the decor of the rooms / bathe and always very clean. Staff always friendly, also variety of food is very good and reasonable. Great service! Great clean room and lots of amenities!
I'm only giving it 3 stars becuase the beds in the rooms are not comfortable, they are very very firm, but if you like firm beds then you will be fine. Also the shower water is very hard water, dried out me and my husbands skin bad and made us very itchy. Also the house keepers can be very annoying, they knocked on my door 2 times well before out check out time and kept waking me up and were extremely loud moving furniture in the other rooms enough to also wake me up. Loved having a smoke free environment. Definitely will chose them over other casinos in the area
