I will be leaving Pacifica Dental and likely filing a complaint with the dental insurance company. Before starting an elective service ( the dental irrigation) I was not notified that the procedure was elective ( and not covered by my insurance) and was not notified of the costs before the procedure started. No one explained to me what the procedure was, nor did they tell my the significance of the procedure. The tech just put the irrigation on right after the polishing and flossing my teeth. It was the roughest cleaning I have ever received and I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. It felt very rushed and sloppy. I am considering looking for a new dentist.
Interesting how my last dentist appt (with another dentist) my teeth were good. Now, my god, my teeth are so bad that I need over $1,000 worth of dental work. Also interesting how many other patients had the same thing happen to them, but when they got a second opinion, their gums and teeth were fine. Lets see what my sexond dentist has to say. But my guess is, you already know what my new dentist is going to say - that everything looks fine, just like my last visit.
Outstanding service, friendly staff. Dr. & staff explain the procedures they will do clearly.
The office staff is GREAT!!
Was able to get in and have a cavity filled in under 1 1/2 hours.
I have been coming to this office for a long time and when it was run by someone else I use to have to wait two hours or more and now I never have to wait it's great!
