We have always gone to the Oyster house for all of our anniversary and birthday dinners, NO MORE, it is not the same, prices have sky rocketed and the food and service have gone down hill. Sorry to say they have lost regular customers of over 35 years.

I greatly enjoyed my first visit. I was celebrating just getting my HCA Certification. The waiter was a little chatty. I was alone so i just wanted to eat alone with my thoughts, not converse. The food was great. The waiter even gave me a celebratory ice cream.

After enjoying this Olympia tradition for many years, I was shocked to see the huge rise in prices. I was even more shocked when my favorite oyster stew arrived with not a single oyster in it ($12 a bowl). The seasoning or something had changed--it tasted sour. My friend's clam chowder was a thick gravy with one discernable clam. The coconut shrimp were good, but 4 of them for $15 didn't work for us. Please bring back our old Oyster House!

Good service for a Friday. Light crowd. Great chowder! Rolls were hot and chewy good. Half Ceaser salad with shrimp were really good. Bloody Marys were weak and watery and a disgrace. I would return!
