Be careful here. If you start asking questions and don't buy, things become ugly, and fast. They quoted me a good price on a new car, we weren't necessarily looking at new. I entertained the offer, but it didn't pan out. I'm going to go out on a limb here -- that happens from time to time?? Here's the response (from their email) when I told them I was going a different direction; "So, thanks for wasting my time and energy!!!! Enjoy the Camry, if you actually did purchase one." That was from Avery. Called his boss, Rick. All ... read more
I went to Oxmoor Mazda planning to buy a used Mazda. I stated several times that I wanted a Mazda 3 or RX-8. They continually tried to get me to buy a Ford Focus that they were for sure I would love. I'm sorry but if a customer states they want something and they say it more than once try and work with what they want and do not push them into something else. I went back a couple days after this visit and looked at an RX-8 that was listed on the internet for 11,900. I test drove the car and noticed the check engine light and ... read more
This dealer's sales techniques confirm every horrible stereotype about car dealers you can imagine. Bait and switch, good-cop/bad-cop team approach, poor product knowledge and feigned ignorance of advertised incentives and prices, bold-faced lying, etc., etc. I would suggest to one and all to avoid this dealer if possible. It's a pity, because Mazdas are great cars (I have had 3 of them).
Long story short they completly screwed me when I purchased my 2009 Mazda 3 in Feburary. I was promised one price, and the salesman and I both signed paperwork with that price but when we went in to do the financing suddenly the numbers were differnt. I expressed to the finance guy (he was the head of finance) that those were not the numbers we agreed upon, he assured me they were and went around in circles explaining how it all made sense. I actually got so upset I started to cry(yes embarrassing I know) but my husband and ... read more
I purchased my 2003 Mazda6 in Sept. of 2006. I was told that this car only had 1 previous owner and had never been wrecked. They guaranteed me an extended Powertrain warranty and 3 years later, I was having trouble with the transmission so I contacted them to get it fixed...and they just happened to have lost my warranty and kept telling me that other things were wrong with the car that had nothing to do with my initial problem I went in for. So after having to go as far as contacting corporate on this, the GM, Bill Willough... read more
I went to drive and decide on a 2009 MazdaSpeed 3. I informed the salesman that I wanted to drive the car and then decide later (this was a Saturday), probably Monday after speaking with my insurance agent and credit union. After the drive, the floor manager- Rick Poe -came over and said if I took the car then, he'd beat the Mazda S-Plan pricing hands down. I said I'd think about it over lunch. After thinking on it, I decided to go for it as long as I got a proper second test drive of the car. After the drive, I sat down to ... read more
