We are a Recovery Kentucky men’s drug and alcohol abuse facility modeled after Louisville’s Healing Place. Our program usually takes between 6 and 9 months to complete. The peer-driven community model is the greatest contribution to our client’s success. Our goal is to simultaneously reduce the state’s drug problem and reduce homeless issues. I will forever be in debt of this place. It taught me how to be a husband, a father and a better person altogether. I wouldn't change my time there for anything else. Made some lifelong friends or as I like to call it. Family. I miss everyone more than I could ever say. Always in my heart!!!
My son was kicked out over a engery drink went to jail today after 2 mts there a rule a rule I understand that there was more with they got to start program over not fair.
I want to believe in this place. My son is due to go back in March after being kicked out for a violation due to a cigarette. Back to jail for him for 2 months. I think there is a better punishment than kicking your feet out from under you again. I can't wait until he get out and is back. He is so ready himself. I want to believe and see how this program works. Thanks DD
