Really don't like the fact that every time my husband goes to the Dr he sees someone new. But other than that it's good.

I think the VA here has improved greatly over the past 25 years. There are some excellent people that work there and there are some that need to either learn how to talk with people or find other work, but you have that in any job. Overton Brooks is trying to remodel in the hospital as well as building new parking garage. The staff in the past 3 or 4 years have seemed to have been revamped too. I have been a steady patient at the VA system clinic in Longview Tx. and at the Overton Brooks Medical Center in Shreveport La. going on five years now. In all this time I have received outstanding service and attention to my health. I have been admitted twice to the hospital in SP. and the care and attention that I received from the medical and support staff I greatly appreciated. Thanks VA system.
The only problem I had with them is not enough raking spaces. Was late to appointment because of it. The appointment was a good experience
The nurses and staff were great but the place is old and run down. Very sad accommodations for people who risked their lives for our freedom. So disappointed!
Super courteous and friendly from the info desk to the clinic. The staff are top notch. I drove 2.5 hours to see a specialty clinic. Worth the time. The only side comment is parking. It is being addressed with the building of a parking garage, so just plan accordingly for your appointment time.
My husband gets excellent care from all the doctors and staff at OBVA. Appointments are always on time, and when he needs them.
