The Doctors and Nurses and everyone involved were very attentive. They kept me informed and updated on the Surgical process before, during, and after the procedure. My relative that was having the prodedute felt relaxed and comfortable which was comforting for me.
My son is currently at Sentara and with the level of care and concern and efficiency that the staff has here I would not want him at any other facility. communication is key during the healing process this being said I'm never left wondering or with questions unanswered. If you yourself or a loved one suffers a traumatic incident this would be the only facility that you would want them to be. I can't thank them enough for all they do and I'm so grateful my son has them on his team.
Every time I go to Sentara Norfolk General Emergency room,I call it the Death Trap because every experience I had was bad.
I trust them along with God because they have always came through for me and I just trust them because they are able to handle any emergencies and I will forever thank them!!!

Thankfully my stay was short and sweet. The staff was as what most have said in their comments. If you have to stay in a hospital, then this one certainly would be a good choise. I had a pace maker implanted early in the morning. After a long day of recovery I got to come home. There is still no placce, like home!
Best hospital on the East coast. Staff are wonderful and make you feel they genuinely care.
