Kind staff and the best care. Yonder, my Blue Heeler has been going here since he was 7 months old after his adoption. OAH staff, have saved his life in the past through surgery after he swallowed a piece of a nyla bone. And stitched his snout up today from an industrial machinery accident. This is the best place for your animals.
my cat died before they don't want to see him i call snd they said to go to emergency 40 minutos away my cat died in front of their door they are open when i call my cat can't not breathe and they refuse to see him before we driven to animal hospital in GR we make a quick stop in the clinic in the north side in 120 street i bagging to see my cat but they refuse i never they my other animals there they let my cat died.
This practice is consistently excellent at each location! Each vet and staff member are so friendly and compassionate!!

You have been taking care of my dogs for years. Great staff. Loving care when they can help and compassion when there is nothing more to be done. I will be eternally grateful for the tender mercies Dr Heitman showed Izzy when his time was done. Thank you, all.
I have gone to Ottawa animal Hospital for over 20 years and Dr. Heitman and his staff have ALWAYS been the most kind, considerate and caring people that I’ve taken my Springer spaniels to (all three of them). Dr. Heitman is THE BEST!!!!!!
I have known Dr Swift for close to 20 years and I will follow her wherever she goes. Fortunately, she ended up at OAH (I would have loved it if she were closer to Grand Rapids) where the staff & facilities at both locations are wonderful. So I suppose I got the better end of the deal even if I have to drive 40 minutes!! Thank you all for seeing me through some scary moments with our senior Aussie, Clementine, and understanding our teenaged Aussie, Zooey, who, erm, doesn’t always remember her, erm, manners.
