RecommendedI was a client of another local vet but I had a minor emergency with my senior dog and they refused to get me in. The staff at Ottawa worked to fit me into their full schedule and have been a huge help! I will now be taking all my dogs to Ottawa! Dr. Heitman was great with my senior dog and is helping us figure out the best course of action to give him many more years with us. I also hear OAH is familiar with sport dogs and so I am excited to bring my Agility/Flyball competition dogs here in the future for great vet care!
After a less then good experience in treating my dog, I called Ottawa Animal Hospital and explained my dogs issue and was hoping someone would see him. I was met with an immediate response and an appt. time that same day. Our pup’s records were requested and when we arrived they were prepared to see us. The office was very clean and staff pleasant. Very clean and the employees greet you when you come in! Very quickly get into a room, the vet assistant was so good with Ruby! Typically Ruby had to be put to sleep for her visits at previous vet, not here! They said she did great! Dogs have a good sense of safety! Dr Turner was terrific! The office was so clean! Best experience at a vet office in a long time! Made the right choice. Lastly, the price of the services was very fair! Win for all!
We are new to this Veterinarian and it was an emergency that brought us to them. Everyone was friendly and compassionate. I will be making this my fur kids new PCV! It's not local for us but well worth the drive!!! 5 Star Dr. Heitman saved my kitten!
