Enjoyed a great tour and exceptional hospitality from the property managers this past Saturday. Very interesting story and history of this gorgeous property. I was amazed to get to see so many original furniture and decor pieces still in use today. Well worth the time and $!! Thank you!
A wonderful day trip from Glenwood Springs.
Been there took a tour in 1951, don’t remember everything, but what a great place to see.
Pete was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. His passion for the history of the castle was evident from the moment we met him. We loved learning about the history of the area and so many details that one can only learn from spending time in the castle, taking a peek into the past and walking the grounds. By the end of our time there we felt like family. Each room has been lovingly restored with so much attention to detail. A stay in one of the historic rooms is a must do. This will not be our last visit!
Great place to visit and stay for a night!!!!!
I've eaten there a couple times along time ago..
What an amazing tour! We've toured lots of famous homes, but not with the intimacy offered here. Great stories. Lots of detail. And yet with all it's "castle-ness", still very homey, like a family member just showed me his house. We'd love to go back and stay for the night in Teddy Roosevelt's room! The whole house is gorgeously decorated with a mix of olden days and modern design. Perfect.
A fantastic remodel of this famous place. Run, don't walk to check it out.
Beautiful, historic mansion in the Colorado Rockies. This place has an interesting story and is close to a charming town. Great place to visit!
