RecommendedThe Redstone Castle, sitting on an expansive, manicured lawn sloping down to the Crystal River, surprises you, if all you're expecting is mountains and trees on your drive up the tight valley. The interior of the castle is warm and inviting, with beautiful wood finishes, sparkling windows, and comfy manor house chairs in in front of the huge fireplace. The stories of an unseen, crying baby in an out of the way room in the tower give you a fit of shivers, but you don't mind...you are safe within these elegant walls.
What a wonderful tour - and a very patient and knowledgeable tour guide!! She made our tour so much fun - I highly recommend this visit! If 18 crazy ladies didn't make her crazy - nothing will!! Beautiful home filled with a rich history. Love it!
It was super neat and interesting!! It's kind of hard to find if you have never been there. The tour guide knew everything you would ever want to know.
