Dr. Michael House quickly diagnosed my shoulder pain as impingement. I received an injection of cortisol and a referral for physical therapy to correct the problem that caused my pain. Everyone at Ortho Texas Denton were kind and very professional.
Dr. Kouyoumjian (Dr. K) is the BEST doctor around. I have had two total knee replacements, and both have worked out amazingly well. I first went to Dr. K to just help me not have pain, I could barely walk, but I didn’t want surgery. Dr. K did everything he could to help me walk without pain and not have surgery. But my knees were so bad I realized I had to have my first knee replaced. Dr. Kouyoumjian is amazing! His staff is always nice and professional. I had a major shoulder surgery in September of 2017, it was great until I did something stupid and tore a tendon and rotator, back I went. He did my surgery at end of April and it’s barely July and I am 100% recovered and back to normal activities. I can not say enough about him. Great bedside manner. He cares about his patients!

He looked at an old MRI and did not assess my shoulder at all. C'mon there are tests for torn labrum and rotator cuff and I was being seen for shoulder pain. A monkey could do your job.

Dr. K is understand and caring about the patient's concerns. He has repaired one knee and both shoulders of mine in the last seven or eight years. He goes the extra mile to ensure that everything is corrected to make the repairs as good as possible. What Dr. K. did with my destroyed right shoulder was amazing. After recovery and therapy, I do not even realize most of the time that I had work done on that shoulder. I would recommend anyone who needs orthopedic care to go see Dr. K.
