Dr Zannikos recently performed laminectomy surgery on me. The pain and weakness in my legs has significantly improved. He is so patient and caring in his interactions with me. I really felt welcome when I first made my appointment and when I came into my first visit to see Dr. Zannikos he was very kind and understood the pain I was in and really wanted to help. Back to back cervical and lumbar decompression, discectomy, and fusion (8 weeks apart). I am now one one year post-op and easily 80% improvement in neck and back pain and most importantly function and overall stability. Before surgery i could not walk 100-200 yards without looking like I was drunk due to pressure on my spinal cord. Now I can walk 3-4 miles every day. Dr. Zannikos is quite remarkable. I am just three months postop from an outpatient lumbar fusion and already my lifestyle has changed compares to before surgery. I was able to go home the same day after my fusion (TLIF) which was done at their surgical center. I feel like that I am going to be able to enjoy the latter part of my life so much better.
