Dr. Joyce did both of my shoulders and both of my husbands shoulders. He is the best. As long as you follow his instructions and do your therapy as directed you will have no problems. His office is a well oiled machine and everything runs smoothly. Dr. Joyce and Eric his PA do a wonderful job taking care of patients. They listen to what you are saying and are highly skilled in their profession and our recoveries went smoothly. I would recommend Dr. Joyce to anyone who is thinking of having their shoulder done.
Dr Joyce is a top notch orthopedic surgeon. He was recommended to us by friends whom he had performed many procedures for them and their family members. He replaced both of my husband's knees in 2006 and my knee in 2019. So professional, knowledgeable and caring. He has a wonderful team he works with. We highly recommend Dr. Joyce.
I underwent total hip replacement in February, 2020. However, Dr. Joyce and his team made the recommendation for surgery only after extensive physical therapy and other processes to make sure this was necessary. The surgery went very smoothly and I was walking within six hours afterwards. He and his staff have been available anytime I have had questions during my recovery. I am pain free and able to do virtually anything I want to at this point. I would recommend Dr. Joyce to anyone who needs orthopedic care
Excellent care
Surgery went completely as planned and described to me and my total shoulder replacement was a positive experience. After surgery I had almost no pain at all, no swelling, no bleeding no numbness. Physical therapy has given me confidence that I will be able to resume my job as a carpenter. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Joyce and his staff. Thank you!
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Joyce. He was able to diagnose my hip problem and I am now doing all the activities that I want without pain. He is amazing and I refer as many people as I can to him
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Joyce and all of his team! I had a rather extensive knee surgery & am now back to walking, hiking... enjoying LIFE! No more pain! Additionally, I was able to use his PT Team. Also a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Dr. Joyce, his team and his practice. I'm now ready to dance at a nephews wedding in October!!
I went to Dr Joyce in 2016. I had a labral reconstruction done. Little did i know i had hip displasia and need a much bigger surgery. Dr Joyce was hard to get into and the wait time was ridiculous. The day i got for surgery i had to wait several months. I got the surgery and was still in pain. I moved to Maine and got a new surgeon. I found out i needed a PAO not just a reconstruction. I went through more surgery than i should have and they didnt contact my insurance and it didnt get approved. I had a huge battle with that. ... read more
