As a mom and an ER nurse of MANY years, I cannot say enough to about the Shands Ortho clinic. EVERYONE was extremely pleasant and helpful and they were great with my kids. They let my other 2 watch my daughter get casted and made them feel so comfortable. If we have any further Ortho needs, there isn't any doubt Shands is where we will be!!
I can't express enough gratitude. I was a walk-in with my daughter this afternoon and we were in the back, xrayed, and waiting for the doctor within 30 mins, maybe less. Dr. Dempsey was so sweet and excellent with my daughter when she told her she'd need a cast. From the beginning everyone was so friendly and professional. Mrs Kathy at check in was so very nice and friendly. Oh, and I can not forget Rodney, who casted my daughter.
