When you are scheduled for surgery, you are very nervous and worried. When I first saw Dr. Hartzler on the day of sergeory he completely eliminated my concerns with his warm bedside manner. I was experiencing a great deal of pain on admission. Upon awaking from the procedure I had absolutely no pain. Very shortly after awaking he was in my room and assured me all went well and indeed I had no pain what so ever. I was up the day of surgery and actually walked 750. I was off opioids by the 3rd day

Having been active in sports and fitness my entire life, at 58 I was suddenly unable to enjoy normal daily activities. An MRI revealed total degeneration of the left hip. I consulted with Dr. Hartzler. As a legal nurse consultant I knew more bad outcomes than good - Dr. Hartzler's knowledgeable and patient manner gave me the confidence to undergo an anterior total hip replacement. its been 6 months and I have my life back. I thank him and his team for the best possible outcome - 10 stars

I accompanied my husband today on his visit to Dr. Hartzler and was completely impressed with the entire experience. This practice is phenomenal!! From the moment we entered the office we were treated with respect by a staff that is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly, Dr. Hartzler was very knowledgeable, professional and unpretentious. He was gracious with his time and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Hartzler!!

Dr. Hartzler performed total knee replacement and also hip replacement for me one year apart. Both were needed and successful. He also follows with me regarding pain the the other knee, and I have been treated by him for injuries to my shoulder. He is very thorough, easy to talk with, and works very hard with me to address every issue. I have already recommended him to others, and at least two of them have visited and been treated by him.

Dr. Hartzler has given me two new hips, six years apart. I cannot say enough kind words about him. He has great bedside manners and replaced my hips with a minimum downtime. He is truly an expert and I would highly recommend him.

Where do I begin?? Historically, being an avid exercise enthusiast. At the age of 50, started to experience knee problems. 20 years later, again historically, "The Man", Dr. Hartzler, has performed 5 scopes, one full knee replacement at the age of 50, then a parial replacement on the other knee called an Oxford. Presently, at 70, had the oxford removed and had another knee replacement. Nothing more to say other than I trust Dr. Hartzler & his staff. All are caring & dedicated. Best there is!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hartzler for 20 years. I have had three different surgeries with Dr. Hartzler. He is very caring to his patient. When you are in pain you can see he feels it with you. I would not have any other doctor than Dr. Hartzler. In my eyes he is the BEST.
