I found Dr. Hartzler to be extremely patient and thorough in discussing my treatment options. He was very clear and I felt confident in choosing to have a knee replacement. My results are all I had hoped for. I would definitely recommend that patients see Dr. Hartzler.
Dr Hartzler and his PA, Susie were great. From the time of my first visit I knew that I had chosen the right Dr. On June 24 I had Right Knee Replacement. I had put it off for 5 yrs. I had heard so many bad things from people who had it done, they said the pain was so bad. I was scared. My wife had a full knee replacement with Dr Hartzler and could not have been more pleased. He is a wonderful doctor and we would highly recommend him for any ortho surgery.
I was referred to Dr Douglas Hartzler by a long time friend of mine and I will always be in debt to my friend for the referral. Dr Hartzler wasn't only a fantastic surgeon, he is also a doctor who takes the time to listen to you and makes you feel comfortable during the entire process. Without a doubt I would rate him at the highest level.
From the first visit to the office I knew this was the Dr I wanted to do my knee replacement. Caring and answered all my questions. Came into my hospital room to check on me before 7AM the following morning. Suzie, his PA, and the rest of his staff were awesome! The great care and guidance allowed me a quick recovery.

I will recommend Dr. Hartzler, without any hesitation. He is a kind and patient doctor and a surgeon worth being extremely proud. I can honestly say I have absolutely no complaints of any sort with the treatment and surgical procedure completed by Dr. Hartzler and his staff.

Dr. Hartzler is the best at what he does. He replaced my right hip in 2009 and my left hip in 2018. I have recommended him to others who have had knees replaced and they were all very pleased with with surgery skills. Another plus is Dr. Hartzler is very approachable and easy to talk with which is sometimes uncommon in doctors. Additionally his staff are knowledgeable, kind and willing to answer any questions you may have regarding an upcoming surgery.
