I reviewed all the information I could find before deciding on seeing Dr Hartzler. He put me right at ease and answered all my questions as well as my wifes. He kept me informed of exactly what and when he was going to do for me. His years of experience makes him very comfortable in what he does and he does it well. I can heartily recommend him to anyone. Even his staff is so friendly and courteous as well.
Completely pleased with hip replacement surgery and recovery time. Would recommend to anyone.
Had a total right hip done by Dr Hartzler. The experience from the first doctors office to the last was excellent.
I have known Dr. Hartlzer for almost 30 years. From ACL reconstruction back then to a hip replacement just 10 days ago (and I walked 1/2 mile yesterday). His surgical skills are only outdone by his bedside manner. In addition, his entire office staff is one of the most efficient operations I have ever see anywhere, let alone in a medical setting. I have referred multiple friends to him over the years and they would all vouch for the same exact experience!
MA and Dr. need to have better communication so as to not waste anyone's time.
unfortunately I have to leave a low star more for the mistakes the MA made than the actor did. The MA order the wrong set of X-rays and did not take responsibility for her mistake The office staff did just a bad job communicating with me that I left very frustrated and quite angry with the experience

I was scared. Dr. Hartzler was patient, and has a relaxed approach to patients. He put me at ease immediately, and ha a calming effect on me. I would not consider anyone but him, in his field. I refer him often to my family, friends, and clients.
You won't find a better surgeon and group to work with. Dr. Hartzler took the time to explain everything about my shoulder replacement surgery clearly and answered all of my questions in plain talk that was easy to understand. He is the consummate professional; knows his stuff and made everything seem very easy. On top of that, he's a very nice gentleman.
