THE SOONER THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS, THE BETTER. THIS CRAP OVER GONE WITH THE WIND IS RIDICULOUS. WE NEED TO PUT PRESSURE ON THEIR SPONORS.

I have lived in this area my entire life, I've been to the Orpheum countless times, one of my favorite times to go is for the Summer Movie Series. I am very disappointed that you would take a classic movie like Gone With The Wind out of the lineup, based on the complaints of someone, or an organization who has probably never set foot in the place!! I will not be back.

Wow. You guys are complete garbage for bowing down to the left wing crybabies and taking away gone with the wind. That movie was the staple of your movie series and a yearly tradition for many people. I will no longer give the Orpheum any of my business. I used to be a season ticket holder and was planning on renewing it this year for me and my girlfriend but you guys just made me decide against that.

My family and I have been fans of your establishment since we moved here in 2004, however that ended this week. You've decided to pander to those who are professionally offended. This is disturbing on many levels. Gone with the Wind is a true cinematic classic, one of the top films ever made. Is this film insensitive, no. Is the film at all racist, no. Is this film an accurate, yet dramatic representation of the world in that era? Yes. By deciding to pander to those who blindly run around looking for new and creative, albeit... read more

I loved the movie Gone With The Wind! I also do not feel it right to censor art in any way. This movie is a classic and I feel that if it offends you- you have the right to not watch. However, I do feel that The Orpheum made this decision due to some finding a correlation in the time frame of this showing and the march in Virginia. I think that they made this choice as an act of good faith for people of color who patronize (black people enjoy theatre too) and I hope that they bring back this classic eventually. This film mad... read more

So sick of Political Correctness". This is a very bad decision to stop showing "Gone With the Wind". How come, all of a sudden, it offends people? Stupid is as stupid does.

Who exactly put on the pressure to make you decide not to show GWTW? I'm offended by a lot of lyrics in certain songs but do I protest to decease and desist sales and playing of those songs? No, because I choose not to listen to them. Just as your patrons can choose events they want and don't want to attend. This censorship is so frightening to me. What's next, burning books? I can no longer support the Orpheum.

It was the worst showing of Rocky Horror I have ever seen. I was asked multiple times to not do the call back lines and an usher even asked me to take my seat. I had people say for me to be quiet so they could watch the movie, but that is the opposite of what you are supposed to do when you see Rocky.
