We drove from Portland to Salem to celebrate birthday and Anniversary with friends. Bottom line, the food was terrible and expensive. The server was pleasant and helpful but will not be going back due to poor quality of food. The steak was tiny, six bites was tender but the rest was too tough to chew. Portions were very small. The best of the meal was the baked sweet potato and sweet rolls. Saved my meal.

I love the original roadhouse. Great teas and food
Ordered the 10oz Roy Rogers steak which according to the menu on their official Facebook page should be $15 but was charged $21 upon pickup. Also wanted it cooked medium but it was definitely well done.
Ate at the bar, could hear the manager talking nasty about other employees. The bar was a mess with her papers scattered across it and she was extremely unfriendly.
