We go there 4-6 times a month. Can't beat The Oysters,the Food,Service or Prices from anywhere around. A Great Place with Great Service.

Service is always great, love there shrimp pisolets. Wish they would slice the catfish a lil thinner and fry a lil crisper . Great sweet tea. Will be a regular

We eat there about once a month when we meet my parents. Love the gumbo, shrimp poboy, and bread pudding. Really appreciate them getting Bud Light Platinum for me.
Got the shrimp poboy and it was delicious! And the servers were so sweet!
Sat at the table for literally 20 minutes (timed it) and not one server came. Walked out.

Let me first apologize for your experience at Chookies. After reviewing the video, we did observe that you had entered the restaurant at 8:02 and got up to leave after 14 minutes and then sat back down for another minute and a half.(15 minutes and 47 seconds) Which would seem like an eternity to me as well. I believe one of the factors is that the seat you all chose was not bused. The waitresses may have thought you all were finishing rather than haven't even placed your order. My husband and I went to chookies for first time last night with our boss and couple others with our crew. The oysters were delicious. The people at chookies are very friendly staff. Will definitely go there again.
Great food and service!! The raw oysters were wonderful!!
