This place is so homey and comfortable! Great food for an overly fair price. Service was better than good, owner Eric Lala was super nice. Noticed we weren't locals, came over and conversed some about NOLA and where we are from in Indiana.....he made us feel extremely comfortable and like we WERE locals! Thank you Eric for you amazing food and hospitality! We will certainly return on the next visit down!
Always good food and friendly atmosphere. I usually run into old friends every time I visit.
The food is good but I had no.clue if u ask for a to go box u charged extra for the box and cup if u take your drink. I think of already paid once why be charged more for a to go box.
The food was great, however the owners are so tight you will only get 8 crackers per dozen oysters. I also spent 65.00 bucks with a party of 3 and got denied a cup of water to go. I won't be back and neither will the table that sat next to us simply because of the way the place is ran.
We had a dozen raw oysters first. Came out quickly and were delicious and big. We orders a fried oysters on bun and dry dock fries. That came out super fast. Everything was so good.
Usually a great experience but tonight one of the orders was wrong, another one had a bad taste to it, which was promptly switched out for a new one. We were then told that we would have to pay an extra $2.50 to get an iced tea to go when I didn't even have a refill while eating. Won't be back. We spent $130 on dinner and couldn't even get a drink.
It was amazing! Loved it. I had the potatoes with the crawfish and shrimp over them. Don’t remember what it’s called but oh my my.
