RecommendedReally like the place, food is excellent. Service is always great. The drink refill policy ticks me, one free refill. The only other restaurant without refills is Middendorfs and that’s why I do not go there. At $2.50 you won’t loose money with five refills. If I’m eating boiled seafood I’m thirsty. Also closes too early which causes me not to go as often as I would. I love the place even with the few quirks.
Roast beef Poboy was very good, nice soft warm French bread. Had the fried pickles too, they were crispy and delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

The wait staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. The daily lunch specials are delicious and you have to try the stuffed pistolettes! We have never been disappointed and really enjoy eating in. Family friendly and filling.

The best oysters I’ve ever eaten! Always start with the half shell and end with the scampi.
Just the right distance from Jackson when you’re on your way to New Orleans for a lunch break. I really like the pistolette trio. The shrimp and oysters are my favorite but the shrimp are the best.

Very good food and a welcoming atmosphere! The waitress let my daughter try a raw oyster for her first time for free. Was very nice! Highly reccomend!
