We brought our grandson here a year ago for his 6th birthday & had such a wonderful time riding on an old fashion train. We are so sorry to see that it is shut down as we were coming again for his 7th birthday. I do now see they are offering the Lake Dora by Air, Land & Sea Package so please check into this.

It was so much fun. My daughter enjoyed it so much. She fell asleep on the trip back. We are sad to see it go...
SMAARTMom and Dustin are having a hard time saying good-bye, so going to ride the train one more time today...............I mean one LAST TIME :( I know a lot of you out there may be happy not to hear the train horn anymore....but for my son with Autism; that is the most joyous noise to his ears :) We'll so miss riding and visiting with all of our friends at the train station . (BIG HUGS!)

I just want to say, before this great train ride is gone for good, that this was an absolutely fantastic experience! I read the negative reviews and just want to remind those reading my review that some people can never be pleased. We were a group aged 4 to 53 and we all loved every minute of it. The employees were all wonderful, the ride was relaxing and to see the townspeople waving as the train passed by made our hearts warm. They, like us, are so sad to see the train ride leave. I hope by some miracle that it comes back ... read more

Last year was amazing! tThat's why we went this year. But they took so much out this year my kids kept asking me why they didn't get hot chocolate, bell, rubber toy, Elf's, polor express theme and more. I hope they are able to bring 2015 amazing theme back! Santa was very nice but didn't ask my kids what they wanted for Christmas. We was so looking forward to it this year was so disappointed. PLEASE Bring back the Christmas Spirit.
